How to Qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)?

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a program by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) that helps qualifying households pay for monthly broadband services and connected internet devices. The program is a recent transition from the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program, which provided relief throughout the pandemic. Only eligible individuals can participate in the ACP (one benefit per household).

How do you know if you’re eligible? It varies by state, but you must meet one of two requirements:

1. You participate in a government benefit program, or

2. Your total household income meets your state’s Federal Poverty Guidelines
